Doctor: It has been 4 months to your surgery. Doctor: How much weight have you lost? Patient: I lost 48 Kg. Doctor: You lost 48 Kg in 4 months. Doctor: What is the difference between your before and after-surgery life? Patient: There is huge difference in my life now. Doctor: What exactly? Patient: I can walk easily now. Doctor: Before surgery, you used to snore and your oxygen used to drop. Patient: Yes! Ok. Doctor: Is everything fine now? Patient: Yes! Doctor: Can you walk comfortably? Is your breathing normal now? Patient: I can walk 4-5 kilometers now. Doctor: It has been 5 years to your surgery? Patient: Yes! Doctor: You are maintaining 23 Kg weight loss. Patient: Yes! Doctor: Is your weight stable at 72-73 Kg? Patient: Yes! Doctor: How do you maintain your weight? Doctor: Have you gained some weight or it is stable? Patient: My weight is stable. Doctor: Can you eat 1-1.5 chapatis in one go? Patient: Yes! I eat one chapati and sometimes two in one go. Doctor: Do you feel any kind of weakness? Patient: I don't have any weakness. Patient: Earlier, I wasn't able to climb stairs. Doctor: Can you climb stairs now? Patient: Yes! Doctor: That means your life is better now. Patient: Yes! Doctor: Have you ever thought that getting this surgery done was the wrong decision? Doctor: Everyone thinks that it is easy to lose weight with diet or exercise. Patient: Yes! Doctor: Everyone fear this surgery. Doctor: Everyone thinks that they are gaining weight and it is their fault and they can lose weight by themselves. Doctor: You need medical help when your weight crosses a certain limit, and it becomes a disease. Patient: Ok. Doctor: But you need to do some effort to maintain the results.
